TK predicts the 2009 Emmy Awards

Well I've loved doing award show predictions while I was a editor on the Lewis Flyer and now that I've had this blog for some time, that tradition is going to continue. So with the 2009 Television show's all gearing up to take home the trophy, let's get on with the categories that matter most:

Best Comedy Series:
-Entourage
-30 Rock
-Weeds
-The Office
-Family Guy
-How I Met Your Mother
-Flight of the Conchords

TK's prediction: 30 Rock will win for third year in a row.

TK's take: Who I'd like to see get the win- The Office of course, last season was phenominal.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series:
-Steve Carell- The Office
-Alec Baldwin- 30 Rock
-Jim Parsons- The Big Bang Theory
-Charlie Sheen- Two and a Half Men
-Tony Shalhoub- Monk
-Jemaine Clement- Flight of the Conchords

TK's prediction- Steve Carell from The Office. He plays this character to a tee, and it's time he wins and not the overhyped and overrated Alec Baldwin.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series:
-Sarah Silverman
-Toni Colette
-Mary Louise-Parker
-Christinia Appelgate
-Julia Louis-Dreyfus
-Tina Fey

TK's prediction- No brainer! Tina Fey wins again and will next year lol!

Outstanding Drama Series:
-Big Love
-Mad Men
-Dexter
-Breaking Bad
-Lost
-House
-Damages

TK's prediction: Mad Men, never watched it, but the buzz is that they will repeat again.

TK's who I'd like to see win: Dexter, one of the best shows on TV!!!

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series:
-Michael C. Hall- Dexter
-Hugh Laurie- House
-Simon Baker- The Mentalist
-Gabriel Byrne- In Treatment
-Bryan Cranston- Breaking Bad
-Jon Hamm- Mad Men

TK's prediction- Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad edges out Jon Hamm

TK's wish: Love for Michael C. Hall to win, plays America's favorite serial killer unbelievably.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series:
-Holly Hunter- Saving Grace
-Sally Field- Brothers and Sisters
-Mariska Hargitay- Law and Order SVU
-Elisabeth Moss- Mad Men
-Kyra Sedgwick- The Closer
-Glenn Close- Damages

-TK's prediction- Elisabeth Moss wins for Mad Men
