TK reviews the season debut of 'True Blood'

It's been a long wait since last season's finale of the smash hit True Blood and it's a show I'm proud to say I watched live when it debuted, and am not a band wagon jumper. It's a great show that boasts great writing, great stories and most importantly great acting. Anna Paquin is phenomenal in the show along with Stephen Moyer as the Bill Compton, the vampire.

So with a lot hanging in the balance from the fall finale, a lot of questions were answered with a lot of new ones setup for this season.

The whole dead body in the car that ended season one, well turned out to be the exorcist lady Miss Jeanette, who had her heart ripped out of her body. So what did it? I want answers and I want them now lol. I felt bad though because she was a very interesting character but I'm sure it will all be played out in good time.

First off, spoiler alert- Lafayette is alive, but is in the dungeon of Eric's house, as we find out he is interrogating prisoners about the cause of that fire that killed three other vampires, so lets hope Lafayette can work his charm to stay alive because he is such a key figure to this show.

Elsewhere, we have Tara who has become a very key central player on the show. She no longer is just this over dramatic whiny girl, she has become centered and grounded but still has a bunch of issues bottled up inside her. She is still living with MaryAnn and I want to know what the hell is up with that crazy lady.

Jason has become obsessed with his new church and God way of life as he has turned over a new leaf. He has become completely clean and is very serious about becoming involved with this organization, who we just know has a hidden agenda and will use people like Jason to get their mission accomplished.

Back to the main characters, Sookie and Bill are having relationship problems as Bill fails to tell Sookie that he had to kill a younger girl and make her into a vampire. She has told him everything about her life but he can't open up to share the private details of his life, and that troubles Sookie. In the end, they realize that they are both in love with each other and end up well making love.

Overall, season finale was awesome. It has posed so many questions that I can't wait to get answers to. The show appears to be headed on the right track and I can't wait for the next episode of True Blood.
