TK reviews True Blood 'Keep This Party Going'

Well friends, to say this show is simply fantastic, would be completely accurate. After last week's unreal season finale, there was no way that True Blood could top it this week, but oh yes they did.

A lot of things are going on this week, so without further a due, lets get on with the show.

Sookie and Bill are having some relationship issues and are in dispute on how Bill should handle Jessica. I mean she is a teenage girl whose come into a whole new world now and doesn't know how to control her vampire urges on top of the ones she already has that come with being a teenager. Sookie is also confused at home as she is having trouble dealing with cleaning up her Gram's old room because she wants to be able to move on with her life. Sookie looks at an old picture of herself, Tara and Gram and goes to the restaurant to ask Tara to move in with her.

Tara who is basically living in heaven with MaryAnn is conflicted because in the back of her mind she kind of suspects that something about this whole situation is wrong. So she doesn't give Sookie a clear answer at all. Tara also gets a lot closer with the other person staying at the house and the two get to know each other a lot more. (Sorry his name escapes me). So he comes to her at the bar toward the end of the evening and lets Tara know that he wants to be with her.

Maryann in the mean time is just toying with Sam and during her stay at his restaurant it seems that she uses her undisclosed power to make everyone get up and start dancing and turns the place into one giant orgy. She confronts Sam and does her whole shaking/power type thing and transforms him into the dog and says to never confront her again.

Lafayette is the driving force behind this episode. He is confronted by Eric and is asked a couple of questions regarding the whereabouts of a missing vampire in Dallas. He doesn't know anything and is deemed useless by Eric and Pam and is sent back to the dungeon. Lafayette manages to escape from the dungeon after getting something out of the guys leg, sorry I don't know what it was because it was dark on the screen. I think it was a medal spike or something. He manages to almost escape until a bar tender shoots him in the leg.

Eric and Pam come back to confront Lafayette where he makes a deal with them. He wants them to turn him into a vampire because he would make a bad ass vampire and be their bad ass vampire. So of course Eric says he will think it over and in the end the three vampires go to work on Lafayette and apparently turn him into a vampire, tune in next week.

The episode which just flew by tonight ends with Jessica going to her home and meeting her family again but just as everything seems normal, her dad comes home and we find out that he used to beat her with the belt. But she says now its her turn and displays her fangs and then just all hell breaks loose. She starts to attack her father and just as she is about to bite her, Bill breaks down the door but is unable to enter. He glamores the little girl who lets Bill in and he is pissed. He tells Sookie to shut up and leave as he now has to clean up her mess.

And of course the episode ends, and I'm pissed. We need to wait another 7 days now to find out what Bill does with Jessica's family.

Random thoughts:
Jason is fastly becoming the king of his church retreat and is upsetting some people along the way. He dominates the capture the flag event and is asked to perform a mini play on stage where he gets a standing ovation. So Jason is definitely on his way to the promise land.

Does Jason have the power that his sister does? Is he able to hear others thoughts as well? Because at one time during tonight he seems to hear inner thoughts, but that just could of been how it was shown on tv, not sure though?

What is Maryann's power? Can she just control things with her mind? I want answers please.

All in all tonight's episode was terrific, this season is shaping up to blow season one out of the water and I can't wait to see what happens next. I'll definitely be sinking my teeth into it, ha, had to.
