'Heroes' Turn and Face the Strange: Yes Please

Well better late then never right? So to those loyal 'Heroes' blog recap followers, sorry it's a little late but I did watch the National Title game tonight which was over after about 5 minutes.
So tonight's episode entitled 'Turn and Face the Strange' was classic Heroes, in this fans opinion. Once again the show gets back to it's basic roots and sticks to a few story lines all of which have meaning and purpose in the story as this chapter comes to a close. So lets get on with it shall we. I'll try not to change into anyone else while I do this.

The first storyline tonight had to deal with the continuation of Danko and Sylar. The evil dynamic duo hit some rocky patches today but in the end it is still on track. We learn that Sylar is just out to destroy Noah's life and plans to do it nice and slowly. He takes the form of his wife and goes to Noah with divorce papers. Noah is left in complete and utter shock and thinks that there is something wrong with all of this because no one has ever been able to catch Sylar.

So assuming his suspicions were correct and they were, Noah goes to the body which is 'Sylar' and removes the medal spike from the back of his sweet spot. He learns that it's not really Sylar and proceeds to have a very emotional confrontation with his wife where things end terrible for Noah. He assumes it's Sylar and she is really herself, which I feel bad because Noah is one of my favorite characters, but in the end his gut steers him on the right path.

In the divorce papers, Noah notices Sandra's signature and notices that it's different, thus leading him to his discovery that Sylar is a shape shifter. Noah confronts Danko and confesses that he is onto their plan and Danko even leads him to one of his agents who he says Sylar is disguised as. Noah shoots him in the sweet spot but the man doesn't get up and then Danko's guards are sent after Noah only to reveal that the man he shot is really Sylar who can play dead for a long time and bleed a lot.

Onto our favorite ex-cop, Matt Parkman. Parkman is on a path of self-destruction and vows to go after Danko to take him down and make him feel the kind of pain that he feels because of the loss of Daphne. I have really enjoyed Parkman and do feel sorry for him because he has lost so much, maybe more then any other character during the course of this show, and he uses his power to lead Danko to the one he cares the most about. Upon doing this we find that Danko has a secret identity with a woman who doesn't know anything about the man she's seeing and is in love with.

Matt leads the woman to Danko's apartment where he pulls a gun on the two of them and swears to shoot her to let Danko know what it feels like. Of course Matt can't do that and thank God, because he's not that type of person or character at all. In the end, it's Hiro who saves Matt and introduces him to his son, which was such an awesome moment. (Yes I know the show is not real!) It was so cool to see this man who has suffered for so long to have a purpose in life again and it's going to be interesting to see how our trio of heroes uses the baby?

Hiro and Ando, I'm actually starting to like these two again and love to see them playing Uncle with baby Matt Parkman. It's cool to see how this baby can use his powers to stop and go. The car thing was cool and the whole face thing was pretty funny actually. I think Hiro and Ando know what they have to do and now that they have rescued Matt Parkman and Matt Parkman, things are going to become set for them as they set out.

The Petrelli's are just fascinating, and I can't wait to see what happens next week. Who is Angela's sister and who are those people buried? Why does that show go so fast each week huh? What did you guys think? I think the show is on a roll, and is picking up steam with only 3 episodes left, lets hope the show keeps it up.
