TK's 'Top Ten Comedies Since I've Been Alive- 1986.' Numbers 6 and 5

Well four places filled, only six spots remain, on TK's Top 10 Comedies Since I've Been Alive, 1986. We've had some old classics with recent big box office hits, and now the time has come to unveil two more spots. But first let's take a look at numbers 10-7 so far.

10. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation- year released 1989.
9. Role Models- year released 2008.
8. 40 Year Old Virgin- year released 2005.
7. Ace Ventura- year released 1994.

So what oh what could be next? Well numbers 7 and 6 share a common actor and year, so instead of the teasing, lets proceed with the countdown shall we? So without further a due, I proudly present numbers 6 and 5 on TK's Top 10 Comedies Since I've Been Alive, 1986.'

Number 6- Dumb and Dumber (Year Released- 1994)

Well just when Jim Carrey struck gold with number seven's 'Ace Ventura' he one ups himself again with 1994's 'Dumb and Dumber.' Paired with Jeff Daniels, this movie is top notch. This movie brought friendship to a completely different level. These two guys who just have absolutely nothing going for them come across a briefcase filled with money. Want to talk about great lines? Where do we begin? “Big Gulps huh, ok see you later.” That is one of my favorite lines, oh and how about, “We have no food, we have no jobs, our pets heads are falling off.”

This movie takes the cake as being so original and so brilliantly funny all wrapped into one. The scenes are legendary, the ex lax tea scene where he is rushed to the bathroom, makes me cry so hard every time. And arguably one of movie's most memorable scenes, the burger eating scene with the ketchup and mustard being shot into the air, that is so awesome. The movie just flows so well and Carrey and Daniels play so well off of one another, it's like they are real life brothers or something.

'Dumb and Dumber' arrives at number 6 and with good reason. It will always stand the test of time and is a movie that will never grow old or dull. The lines and scenes are something people quote all the time and remember the next time you're taking a lengthy road trip, ask the person next to you... “wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?

Number 5- Old School (Year Released- 2003)

My generation's 'Animal House' and I'm going to say it here and now, this movie blows 'Animal House' out of the water. Ferrell, Vaughn and Wilson, enough said. The three ring leaders of the fraternity. It was very hard for me to have this movie settle at number 5 but I think the movies ahead of it will be justified. But that's not taking anything away from 'Old School.' This movie is an hour and a half full of non stop laughs and is jammed pack with quotes that are said by everyone all the freaking time. Is there anyone who hasn't seen this movie? And if so, you're an idiot, just kidding of course.

'Old School' is loaded with moments that no one will ever forget, and of course when people think 'Old School' they think Frank the Tank. And how can you not? His streaking through the quad and into the gymnasium is legendary and of course the tranquilizer dart scene with Seann Williams Scott is one word- epic. I haven't even mentioned the “You're my boy Blue.” And “I think I see Blue, he looks glorious.” This movie would be like three pages long of texts if I continued which is always a good thing. The movie offers lines and moments that just will continue to live on and hopefully not always be acted out either.

'Old School' has everything a good comedy requires. Great leads, a great supporting casts and lines that just have you laughing out loud non-stop. 'Old School' will always make us feel like we're back in school again and with leaders like Frank and Mitch to follow count me in. “I built Speaker City from the ground up, and I can barely read.” Because... I close my eyes only for a moment and the moment's gone... Dust in the Wind!!!

So that wraps up numbers 10-5. With only four spots to go, what is going to take the number one spot? And don't worry about a delay between numbers as I will be unveiling numbers 4-3 tomorrow. And the final two spots will be unveiled Friday, so happy viewing, and guess away!!!
