TKs 'Top Ten Comedies Since I've Been Alive' Numbers 10 and 9

Ok so one of the things I have been working on for the last several days is one of several to come Top 10 lists. I've always been a fan of reading top 10 lists and thus creating my own. So as a big fan of television and movies, I figured hey, why not start off the TK Top 10 countdown with TK's Top 10 Comedy Movies Since I've Been Alive.

Now of course the main stat that qualifies these movies is that they had to be released after June 27, 86. So it was hard to come up with just 10 as there really have been quite a lot of good comedies movies over the last 22 and a half years. So for the next few weeks I'll be releasing two movies each week starting with numbers 10 and 9. Let me know what you guys think as I continue to unveil my movies all the way to number one. Some you might agree with while others you may just shake your head at, who knows.

So without further a due, here is number 10 on TK's Top 10 Comedies Since I've Been Alive.

10. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (Year Released- 1989)

Well yes, while some may think this movie should be higher up on the countdown, I feel that this is a good way to kickoff my list. I have watched this movie every December for the last like 15 years as it has become a tradition at my house. It is the perfect Christmas movie filled with unbelievable laugh out loud laughs and one-liners that everyone and I mean everyone has heard. Clark W. Griswold Jr. is by far one of the best movie characters ever and it shines more then ever during his quest to put forth the best Christmas season anyone's ever seen.

The characters in the movie all play such vital parts in helping this movie flow so well it's ridiculous. From Clark's in-laws, to his very own parents, and even Russ and Audrey, all are so funny and just add to the movie's charm. And I can't mention Christmas Vacation without Eddie. Randy Quaid is just so damn funny in this movie it hurts. His best part is none other then the septic tank in the sewer. He is outside in his bathrobe drinking a beer, and then says the best line, “Shitter was full.” How can you not laugh at that.

'National Lampoons Christmas Vacation' is such a timeless classic that it will never ever lose it's popularity. Because come every Christmas season everyone deserves the chance to be Merry, “well that's my name, no shit!”

9. Role Models (Year Released- 2008)
Well some might want to start complaining right here and go ahead. The number 9 movie on my countdown is 'Role Models.' This movie is so freaking funny it makes me cry tears of joy every time I watch it. Paul Rudd and Seann Williams Scott work so well together they might just be this day's modern Wayne and Garth. This movie is jammed packed with memorable scenes that left my stomach hurting after I saw it because I was laughing so hard and so much.

The movie focuses on two guys who are forced to go work community service and are stuck into a program that deals with young kids. There we meet two of the funniest kids of all time, in 'Superbad' Foggle- Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Augie and then Bobb'e J. Thompson as Ronnie. Throw in Elizabeth Banks and the ever so funny scene stealer Jane Lynch as the programs founder, and you have a truly funny movie.

What makes this movie so funny and great is the way the story unfolds and how the characters learn from one another. It all builds up to the movies conclusion, which in my opinion is one of the funniest scenes in comedy history, the battle royal. How funny was it to see Kiss My Anthia in just full blown Kiss suits? Priceless! 'Role Models' definitely deserves to be on this list as it truly is a down to earth comedy movie!
Stay tuned as next Monday I unveil numbers 8 and 7 on my Top 10 Comedies Since I've Been Alive!!!
