Ok, this show is awesome. It's been like two weeks since my last '24' recap, so lets get on with it shall we?
When we last saw Jack, he was exposed to a biological weapon that we now know causes dimensia and skin paralysis and leads to certain death, well that sucks! We find the CDC treating Jack and performing some tests to see whether or not he has become infected.
Starkwood moves forward with their plans to unleash the bio weapons, although a specific target has yet to be announced, but you can bet it's going to be something devastating. Jonas sets his goons out to interrogate Tony but of course that leads no where, because I've read his profile and know that Tony doesn't give in that easily. Tony is offered a chance to 'walk' if he reveals to Jonas what the government knows but of course he doesn't cooperate. Seaton gives a look early in the episode like he is nervous and worried which he is and ultimately starts to formulate a plan which unfolds as the episode goes on.
Elsewhere we find the President's daughter, Olivia becomes a temporary Chief of Staff, until a more 'suitable' replacement is found. She requests that Agent Pierce become her head of security because she can trust him, god she is a backstabber, I want to know what her play is in all of this, still can't put my finger on it. The President is forced to consider options after learning that Starkwood is housing these weapons of mass destruction, since it's a private military operations base, home to 1500 trained personal.
Now to the sad news of the episode, we learn that Jack's blood work comes back positive and that he is indeed affected with the bio weapon. He seems to be taken back by it all but of course in traditional Jack Bauer style he doesn't lead it on. I think it really sinks in when he asks Agent Moss to join the attack on Starkhouse, but is denied because his symptoms can start at any ungiven moment, jeopardizing the attack.
We learn that Seaton, a member of Jonas' inner-circle has remorse about letting Jonas get this far with his plan and springs Tony from the holding cell and tells Tony he knows where the weapons are being held. He wants full immunity and of course the President grants it to him. From there a task force is assembled and they move in on the location. Once we get to the location we find out that it's a fake and that Tony was being set-up by Seaton in order to buy Jonas and his team more time to get the weapons going. Of course hearing about this and watching it on their monitors Jonas's personal army rolls in and surrounds Moss and his FBI team and the stand off begins, of course right as the end nears on the episode.
The two Moss and Jonas's leader henchmen guy (I'll call him that) engage in words and tell the FBI to leave because they are on private property, and if they try to advance they will be fired upon. 11:59:59-12:00:00
THOUGHTS ABOUT TONIGHT:
-Jack can't die, there is no way, because I know that ________________________________ ask and I'll tell you my secret!
-Things are going to escalate in a major way next week and I think their are going to be some big time causalities.
All in all, another solid episode of '24' and can't wait for next week!!!!
