TK's Take on the second round of the NCAA Tourney.

With the field narrowed in half now, it's time to take a look at the 16 games scheduled for the second round.

First, the MIDWEST REGION:
1. Lousiville over 9. Siena
-TK's take... too much Lousiville, they are the best team in the tournament.

4. Wake Forrest over 5. Utah
-TK's take... Wake plays in the ACC which has a lot of tough competition and I don't think Utah will present much of a challenge for the Demons.

6. West Virginia over 3. Kansas
-TK's take... I'm having a difficult time with this game. WV is good and have played well for most of the season, Kansas is a good team, but I like WV to prevail late.

2. Michigan St. over 7. Boston College
-TK's take... Too much Spartans in this game, they play a solid game on defense and shut down BC.

WEST REGION: SECOND ROUND
1. UCONN over 8. BYU
-TK's take... UCONN dominates and moves on easily.

5. Purdue over 4. Washington
TK's take... The Boilermakers are young but it doesn't show as they upset Washington.

3. Missouri over 6. Marquette
-TK's take... Marquette plays tough but in the end Missouri takes control.

2. Memphis over 7. California
-TK's take... Memphis will play angry after not earning a #1 seed, so watch out Cali.

EAST REGION: SECOND ROUND
1. Pittsburgh over 8. Oklahoma St.
-TK's take... Pitt is a solid team and should have no resistance from moving on.

5. Florida St. over 4. Xavier
-TK's take... Seminoles showed a lot during the ACC Tourney, so I expect their journey to continue into the Sweet 16.

3. Villanova over 11. VCU
-TK's take... VCU's magic runs out, Nova is strong and they show it.

2. Duke over 7. Texas
-TK's take... Texas is overhyped and the Dukies will prove they belong in the sweet 16.

SOUTH REGION: SECOND ROUND
1. UNC over 9. Butler
-TK's take.... I hate UNC but damn they are good and destroy Butler to advance.

4. Gonzaga over 12. Western Kentucky
-TK's take.... Zaga rolls into the next round

3. Syracuse over 6. Arizona St.
-TK's take... Syracuse is been on a roll and it doesn't stop here.

2. Oklahoma over 7. Clemson
-TK's take.... Blake and the Sooners rock Clemson and move into the Sweet 16.
