TK's take on the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8

First I'd just like to say the Sweet 16 is such a awesome title at this point, anyways... on with the matchups.

MIDWEST REGION: S16 games

1. Louisville over 4. Wake Forest
-TK's take... This game is going to be close and I've heard a lot of talk on ESPN, saying Wake is going to go far. Well this is as far as they get this year as Louisville stays dominant and takes care of WF.

2. Michigan State over 6. West Virginia
-TK's take... This game like the previous one is going to be highly contested and could go either way. When the Spartans are on, their on but at times they look bad. In the end, I give the edge to the Spartans thanks to some great defense.

WEST REGION: S16 games:

1. Uconn over 5. Purdue
-TK's take... The Boilermakers just don't come up with the clutch shots and UConn takes advantage and advances into the elite 8.

2. Memphis over 3. Missouri
-TK's take... Like I said in the last round, Memphis is going to play on a mission throughout this tournament and will lay waste to Missouri as they take another trip into the elite 8.

EAST REGION: S16 games:

1. Pittsburgh over 5. Florida State
-TK's take... Florida State's run comes to an end, as Pitt proves to be way to much for the Seminoles to handle, as Pitt crusies.

2. Duke over 3. Villanova
-TK's take... The Dukies get hot from beyond the arc and play some great defense to upend Villanova and end up as one of the elite 8.

SOUTH REGION: S16 games:

1. UNC over 4. Gonzaga
-TK's take... Too much UNC as they handle Gonzaga with little trouble.

2. Oklahoma over 3. Syracuse
-TK's take... It's all about the Sooners as they end Syracuse's amazing late season run, and take a trip into the elite 8.

ELITE 8 MATCHUPS!!!!

MIDWEST REGION: E8 GAME

1. Louisville over 2. Michigan State
-TK's take... Again I'm on the Rick Petino bandwagon, as Louisville earns a spot in the final four and one step closer to the title game.

WEST REGION: E8 GAME

2. Memphis over 1. UConn
-TK's take...Memphis has rocked it all season and all tournament long, they have a great squad on both sides of the ball and even though this game will be close... Memphis wins by 8.

EAST REGION: E8 GAME

1. Pittsburgh over 2. Duke
-TK's take... I have always routed for the Blue Devils but I'm afraid Pitt will be too much to handle for Duke, as Pitt wins and advances into the final four.

SOUTH REGION: E8 GAME

1. UNC over 2. Oklahoma
-TK's take... This is going to be the game of the tournament, I'm calling it, of course this is if I'm right but still... Hansborough who I hate vs Griffin, hell yeah. In the end it's UNC who gets the job done thanks to some key bench scoring and takes another trip to the final four, damn it.
