So if you could choose any three actors in Hollywood today to play the famous three stooges who would you choose? Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd jump to my mind as three of the industries leading funny men. Well reports have surfaced today that The Three Stooges movie is a go, it has been in production for a while. There is a script in play by the Farrelly Brothers who will direct the feature film. So whose going to star in it you ask?
Well breaking news... Sean Penn, yes Sean Penn is set to play Larry. Go ahead and take that in for a bit...
Rumors are also that Jim Carrey is set to play Curly, who will also reportedly put on weight to play the hefty man, god I could do that, and then finally Benicio Del Toro to play Moe.
I think Carrey is a perfect choice to play Curly and Del Toro does have a funny side but not so sure.
Not being a fan of the 'Three Stooges' this does however excite me because the movie should be good. good actors, good writers/directors... so what are your thoughts? Would you cast differently?
