Recap: The Office 'Two Weeks'

My god, just when you think it's going to be hard to have a better episode then last week, The Office does it again. This show has become so good, it's sickening, but in a good way. Enough of my drooling on the computer, I still can't believe what happened this week on 'The Office.'

This week's episode called 'Two Weeks' obviously centers around Michael Scott who last week put in his two week notice to David Wallace. Loved the Oscar quote in the beginning of the episode saying he loves a good quitting story, one day I hope to have one of my own, I dream. Great stuff. So with Michael not trying anymore at his job, he becomes lazy and just un Michael. He gets a brilliant idea and tries to lure almost everyone in the Office to come with him to his new business- Michael Scott Paper Co.

He tries to lure Jim on more then one occassion, so close your eyes and picture this. Jim obviously doesn't take Michael seriousaly and considers to move on with his life lol. We see a different side of Michael in tonight's episode. He becomes a really determined individual and you can see that he does hit home with people in the Office, all though no one cares to join him at his first asking. I still hate the new boss Charles, what is this guy's deal?

Have to mention the love triangle between Charles, Angela and Kelly. And major props to charles line tonight, "i am aware of the affect i have on woman." that was outstanding. After Charles discovers Michael is going to start a new paper company he is escorted out of the building only to sneak back in in order to retreive supplies for his new business. It is there where he gives sort a farewell speech again, and you can tell he hits a cord in Pam when he says are you doing the best you can do? So our beloved receptionist, who learns how to master the new copy machine, thanks to awesome German instructions provided by Dwight, Pam decides to take a risk and join Michael on his new quest.

As the episode ends, we see that Kevin will take over as new receptionist and Stanley as I forget what, something to do with production quality or something, not positive. We also learn that the Office isn't on next week, which sucks, but will be back in two weeks with two new episodes, so it should be exciting. Also the return of the Office's most hated character, or at least mine, Ryan.

Other tidbits from tonight:

Michael saying, I've been having this dream since lunch, and I'm not giving up now.

Oscar finding a note in his sandwich and meeting secretly outside with Michael.

Somebody's been talking in bed, pillow talk, great line.

Kelly when Angela leaves, she's turning 50.

Meredith's line when Pam unveils the new printer, " little miss thing wants attention."

Michael trying to get Stanley to come with him, while in the bathroom.

"I had a great time at prom, and no one said yes to that either," Michael Scott.

I can't wait for the next two episodes, this show has gotten so good. What are your thoughts on this episode my friends? I think it sets up so much, and according to the previews next week, it only looks to continue to get better.

THE OFFICE RULES!

  1. It was indeed another fantastic episode. A lot of great one liners and of course, the ending leaves you wondering what will happen next. I pretty much agree with your entire review. Looking forward for the last two.
