24 Recap: 5:00-6:00 A.M.

Well boys and girls, can this show get any more intense, answer yes. My only complaint is that the hour goes by so damn fast and it just leaves me wanting so much more. Jack and co. are hot on the heels of Tony and his gang of misfits as they are in full swing of carrying out their plan.
Jack interrogates/tortures the man who was left behind to watch Jibraan's younger brother. He was injured in the last hour but paramedics stabilized him and cue Jack who applies pressure to the man's wounds and is able to get a phone number that would connect them to Tony. He comes up with a lie in order to stall them so that Chloe and Janis can establish a trace on the line. They do so and find out that Tony hasn't gotten that far and is actually on the move. So Jack and his team roll out and thanks to our tech ladies- Janis and Chloe, they are able to intercept Tony as they crash their car into his.

They safely secure Tony and the others and just as they capture Tony he is seen smashing a portable device used to monitor where Jibraan is and they are unable to save any data from it, or so we think. Chloe says the damage is not fixable but in steps Janis who was just out shined a couple of minutes before that and steps in and one ups Chloe and is able to pull some data off of the device that shows Jibraan is on the red line train headed to Washington Central. Then in one of the best scenes all year Jack asks the two guards surrounding Tony to leave so that he can 'talk' to him. Jack then just does what Jack knows best and pummels him over and over again until he tells him where the cannister is. Of course this doesn't work on the seasoned veteran and Jack vows to shoot him because the two of them have nothing left to lose.

Jack is able to get in touch with Jibraan through the ear piece and asks Jibraan to locate the package. He waits until all the passengers get off the train and locates a handbag with the cannister inside of it. He informs Jack that there is a countdown on the bomb and is at 1:18 to go. Jack tells him he must take it off the train and use the escalator to get it outside where he will meet him. Jibraan does so but is stopped by two security guards. He goes all terrorist on them and says I have a bomb and then a mass panic breaks out but Jibraan is able to run outside where Jack pulls up. He hands the bomb to Jack who rushes it into the safety chamber and seals the door just seconds before the cannister does explode and releases the pathogen but doesn't get into the atmosphere. Crisis averted I'd say.

WRONG! This is 24 people, you always have to have another play!

Kim is back tonight and thank God. She is at the airport getting ready to board her plane when she sees a mysterious man looking at her from a distance. She of course gets all paranoid and takes a seat next to a married couple who you know are not going to be nice people. Well it turns out that the mysterious man is an agent that Jack requested keep an eye on Kim and when he goes to the bathroom he is attacked by the man Kim is sitting next to. Of course he is disposed of and we find out that the people Kim is sitting with are people working with Tony and this mystery company.

The ever changing mysterious lady calls Jack and shows him a picture of his daughter on his phone and tells him that he is too spring Tony from custody or else his daughter will die. And one more thing, any agent that gets in his way he is ordered to eliminate. Tony sees that something is wrong and looks at Jack like we'll see who'll get the last laugh... the hour ends!

Other tidbits from tonight's 24:

-I didn't go into the Olivia storyline tonight but a small recap of it: Olivia meets with the man who says she has to act normal now and can't let this whole Jonas Hodges thing affect her because people will notice. Well they have because there is an ongoing investigation already, not to mention Agent Pierce can't seem to trust a word she says.

-Agent Pierce gets in touch with the former Chief of Staff and we learn that there is a digital voice recorder in his/Olivia's office and Pierce wants to listen to those tapes, because he suspects something is up, you are correct sir. (How convenient huh?)

Next week 24 airs it 2, yes 2 HOUR SEASON FINALE, and from what the previews showed, all hell is going to break loose. Will Tony die? Will Jack live? Will Kim be saved... I don't know about you but I do believe those questions will all be answered next week. Happy viewing 24 fanatics.
