Leave it to me to go digging for some awesome news on upcoming and pre-development projects.
Have been reading a lot today about yes a sequel to the smash hit- X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Script is currently being toyed around with but sounds like things are going to revolve around the samurai storyline that was featured in the comics. Don't know too much about that so I guess it's time to read up about that.
Also yes, I'm giddy right now as I just read a link saying a Deadpool movie is in the works and the character will be played by Ryan Reynolds. I think that this is huge news and the movie has some serious potential.
Also were travelling to another universe for a sequel as well, as Star Trek is already talking sequel and the first one hasn't hit theatres yet. I can almost guarantee there will be a sequel as this movie will probably dominate the box office and make some huge cash and leave fans craving more Trek. (Cast and writers are signed for a sequel and J.J. Abrams will most likely be back to helm the picture)
The comic books are going to dominate the forseeable summers for years to come and I'm not complaining. With another Wolverine, Deadpool and the highly rumored Magneto in the works, long live X-Men and all it's glory.
