Is there another show on the planet that could pull in the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Keith Urban, Black Eyed Peas, KISS and freaking Queen? My God what an amazing show but it was all insignificant because tonight was all about the results!!!
100 million votes poured in last night and that's just freaking nuts when you put it in perspective.
So the winner of the season if you haven't heard by now is Kris Allen! Yes not Adam, but Kris.
I predicted Adam last night but thought to myself while watching the show it was playing out just like last year. Adam was this year's David Archuleta. He dominated week by week but in the end America went with the underdog- David Cook and then of course Kris Allen. I'm happy for Kris I really am, but am not his biggest fan. That's not saying I won't give his album a shot or anything but I just enjoyed watching Adam more this year. The bottom line is that they are going to have good, not great careers. I don't see either of them becoming giant superstars like Carrie Underwood or Daughtry, but hell I've been wrong lately when it comes to Idol, so who knows...
So this is the last Idol blog for quite some time. So you know that when next January comes around, TK will be on top of Idol season 9 and I'll be better then ever!
