As I touched here a couple of months ago on this very blog, Guitar Hero 5 was in development and today some light was shined on just what is going to separate this game from it's predecessors. And after hearing what Activision has in store for us loyal GH fans, people are not going to be disapointed. The game will be released September 1st.
New features:
-Players will be able to jump in and out of songs and change the difficulty at will. (Great because no longer will you have to restart a song just because it may be too easy or difficult.)
-More then one person can play lead guitar, bass and drums. So hell if everyone wants to slap da bass, feel free to do so, I still call lead shredder of course.
-A new game on GH5 will allow friends to battle it out and as the song progresses the weaker player will be eliminated until the best is still standing. (Let's get it on.)
AND NOW FOR SOME OF THE EARLY BANDS/TUNES MAKING THEIR WAY TO GH5
-The setlist is going to contain 85 master tracks, which means no covers, which equals awesome!
-Bon Jovi
-Queen
-David Bowie
-Rolling Stones (Sympathy for the Devil)
-Bob Dylan
-Johnny Cash
-White Stripes
-Blur
-Blink 182
-Kiss
-Iron Maiden
