Well kids it's been a good day for me so far. Woke up this morning and travelled with Katie and Craig downtown to watch Leslie perform in the Special Olympics where she totally dominated and won the gold medal in her 100m relay race so that was fantastic. It's really uplifting and great to see those kids out there just having fun and competing, you can't help but smile and feel good inside. The kids were awesome and very friendly too as I got to see some of their gold medals up close. GO LESLIE!!!
Then went to Denny's for a kick ass lunch which was 'divine.' (Word of the day) Then we went to what Craig calls heaven Bass Pro Shop where yes I finally bought a fishing pole and got set up by the Craig man himself so I'm ready to go fishing and I can't freaking wait. It's been a good day so far and the day is young, so check back tonight for further postings including my Idol recap of tonight's elimination show.
