The Office Cafe Disco Rewind

Whose ready to boogie?

Oh my God, the opening was one of the best ever. Erin- “Oh my God I won an art contest.” Dwight's face and laugh is unreal friends and as he walks over to hand her the money for paying her to say it, priceless. One of the all time best openings.

We find out that Michael still owns the lease to his old office form his old venture and occasionally likes to sneak down there for a small small cup o' joe and of course what else but disco dancing. At Dunder Mifflin things are fun but only if your name is Michael Scott. Michael also finds out that there is a supposed no lunch with the boss policy and he misses his lunch mates. So of course he goes around the office trying to find someone to go out with for lunch. Phyllis tries explaining they have to work to do and Michael asks her work, what work, and she says, work!

Erin comes to Dwight about a mysterious fax that has a map to Ohio. And um SHOCKER... we cut to Pam and Jim saying they are going to get married??? What the hell is going on? And this supposed proposal happens over a bowl of cereal and it's sad because Pam wasn't looking her best when it happened which isn't good.

Michael- “Charles really did a number on these guys. All they focus on now is work.” But don't worry friends, cause Daddy has arrived, so Andy there is no need to be afraid. Michael is just bummed because work isn't fun anymore and wants the office to change their attitude. Oscar- “is this our punishment for not going to lunch with you.” And Michael has a line which would have been perfect for a that's what she said but it doesn't come (I know say it.) “I can't entice you to go down there but I'll be down there.” The three way battle between Kevin, Angela and Michael is classic office bickering moment. There is no cookie though.

Can I just say how awesome the songs were on tonight's episode. And loved it with Michael holding the speaker to the vent with the song 'Everybody dance now.' Andy is so awesome I must say. Um do I sense trouble with Phyllis and Bob Vance, as we see another hefty woman leave his office? God I hope not, cause Phyllis is so sweet. She joins Michael downstairs for some dancing and apparently says some bad work and hurts her back. I can't stop laughing still. In comes the rushing Dwight where we get a nice history lesson about back injuries in relation to knee injuries. Is there anything this man doesn't know? And who is Phillip and why did he hurt Phyllis?

Michael and Dwight wheel Phyllis into the office on a rolling chair. And I just love how Dwight closes the blinds in the background. And when Dwight comes out of the office without his shirt on, dear lord it's hilarious. Dwight cutting Phyllis's shirt off, is still a bit mind scratching but he asks her if she grinds her teeth. The screaming from Dwight and Phyllis in the conference room is so awkward and funny. Michael says you all took a life today and proceeds to throw the keys to Erin telling her to shut the cafe disco down. So Erin and Kelly engage in a dance off downstairs where a wear house worker spots them and the party is on.

So all of a sudden the office members start making their way downstairs and Andy all of a sudden finds himself in a dance off. Michael can still hear the music in his head and catches wind that the music is still going on. So he makes his way downstairs and is quite happy to see everyone down there. Dwight engages Phyllis in an ancient Schrute back massage and when he feeds her a carrot I almost pee myself. Downstairs the party is booming as a broom stick is now hanging in the door way serving as a limbo pole. And Angela the grouch comes downstairs and walks right underneath it cause she is so small. Michael tries his best to convince her to dance but with no luck.

Dwight has started to rub oil on Phyllis's back and starts treating and talking to her like a horse. Andy pulls out his awesome dance moves that involves a chair in an almost sort of male stripper routine. The routine is flawless and especially when he walks over the chair. Now it's Kelly's turn as she busts out her best ass shaking moves. Phyllis blabs out loud she thinks Bob Vance is going to cheat on her with his secretary. And Dwight and Phyllis kind of engage in a look, uh oh.

Jim and Pam leave with Pam dressed in a pink gown and Jim gives her flowers as we cut to Stanley at his desk fast asleep. They decide to go to the party and it is there where Dwight and Phyllis rejoin the party. Bob Vance's line- “are those staples?' And finally my boy Kevin is getting some loving in the corner as he is making out with that girl. Cafe Disco has become a huge hit and everyone is getting into it. Pam admits how she loves cheesy and tells Jim that she wants a wedding wedding and Jim does also. Michael still determined to get Angela to dance asks her again but she is just sulking in the corner but is moving her feet, so that's something from our Angela.

The episode concludes with Kelly trying to pierce Andy's ear and wants to make sure it's not the gay ear and Kelly asks him what is he 12? He is so afraid and yells 'son of a bitch' and Kelly has only pressed the ice against him.

OTHER THOUGHTS:
-New receptionist getting some screen time and lines, she is funny and hot.

-Dwight: All work and no play make Michael a dull boy.

-Folks, I think we've gone a couple months without a That's What She Said, and I'm in need of one and soon.

-Andy Bernard just shines tonight. He doesn't say much but his lines are go aerrsome (trying to say it how he would) and he just is amazing.

-Stanley sleeping in the office as everyone is downstairs is priceless.

-Kevin macking out in the corner, awesome and good for him.

Tonight's episode just continues to reaffirm why this is my favorite show. I loved everything about it. I loved how the writers teased us for the first time in a long time about the inevitable wedding of our Jim and Pam which is ....... (won't spoil it for you.) It was a very solid episode and had great lines and great moments from all of our favorite office workers. With next week's episode being the season finale it's bitter sweet because there is just more then one old character coming back and it means that no more office till September... booooo!
